Dermaplaning at home (all you need to know)

Dermaplaning at home (all you need to know)

Dermoplaning is a form of peeling that is rapidly gaining popularity in the beauty world thanks to the directly visible results it produces.

Dermaplaning is a professional procedure that consists of scraping off the top layer of skin with a sharp tool that removes dead skin cells, as well as fine hair or peach cloth, as we call it.

This procedure is absolutely painless, although it is performed with a sharp knife that causes virtually no downtime.

It is a surface treatment and a softer alternative to chemical peeling (as some like to call it).

It is important to note that the treatment by a professional and skilled aesthetician will be slightly different because of the professional tools and products she uses.

The advantage of this treatment is that it can be performed comfortably at home, because there are closed blades available on the internet.

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about the planning of your home and everything you need to know about it.

Is the dermo planning in the house safe?

Dermaplaning at home (all you need to know)

Planning a dermo is absolutely safe at home.

There are many home dermalization devices that you can buy online.

You can find absolutely everything from high-tech vibrators that do almost all the work for you, but on the sunny side, to the old school Tinkle Razor that no one ever uses for the original purpose of forming eyebrows.

I’ll be honest and say that the Tinkle Razor is my favorite instrument for many reasons.

First of all, you can get six for less than $5. Secondly, it is super sharp and, although you have to be very careful when using this tool for the first time, it does its job perfectly.

And finally, it’s up to you to decide whether you use it once or twice or just throw it away after the first use without feeling like you’re throwing your money in the trash.

But besides the Tinkle Razor I found a few others where I didn’t have to rob the bank and which also had good results.

I really loved the Sima Sonic dermaplaning tool, sold for $30 on Amazon, and the Skincare Stacked dermaplaning tool, a little more expensive ($75), but, in my experience, it’s worth it.

Is dermoplaning bad for the skin?

Dermoplaning is not harmful to the skin, but this treatment is not for everyone.

Although the procedure is exactly the opposite of the procedure that is harmful to the skin, there are certain diseases that are contraindicated against this type of skin.

If you currently have active acne or are prone to rashes, fever and fever vesicles, dermaplanation may not be the right treatment for you.

With dermoplaning, your skin is scraped with a pointy scrub, which can cause a reaction or a spike in your current state.

Can dermoplanting lead to hair thickening?

The look on everyone’s face when I said I was going to shave tomorrow was priceless.

All about my mother, my sister, my boyfriend, even my boyfriend’s mother, was like Say w-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh wW woW woW woW woW

Okay, let’s put an end to these rumors once and for all.

If you’re a dermaplan, you remove very fine hairs called wellus hairs. 1С8 1Д9

This hair is so fine and soft that shaving has no effect on its appearance as it grows.

Your hair grows exactly the same colour and thickness as before You cannot change the structure of the hair follicle by shaving the hair.

And the science behind this thesis is that dermaplaning doesn’t go far enough to affect the active stem cells of the hair follicles deeper in the dermis.

It takes about a week before the hair on the parchment grows back, after which you can start working in Dermaplan again.

What happens after a demapping?

I can describe my skin type as fatty but at the same time sensitive.

My skin reacts to many things I do and doesn’t react well.

I used to fight the pimples, and sometimes they still come and go after me.

After a dermap plantation in my apartment I felt a slight redness on my cheeks and a more pronounced erythema along my chin.

I was afraid that the rash would get worse because of the obvious redness and that my skin would crack again, which did not happen.

Two hours after the dermaplaning I had to meet a friend for a drink and of course I had to put on makeup.

By that time, the redness had completely disappeared and my skin was no longer itchy.

There was no tingling, and my skin was like silk.

My makeup worked perfectly. My foundation, my bronze and blush and even the backlighting were a perfect match, better than ever, if I may say so.

What should you wear on your face after dermoplaning?

I have to admit that I was a bit surprised to see the redness along my chin and cheeks getting bigger, so I immediately used my 2% + B5 hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary and after a few minutes I followed my usual moisturizer.

My skin was relieved and the redness began to disappear almost immediately.

That same evening, I used my usual oil-based cleanser to dissolve my make-up, after cleaning it with a cleansing gel and Avene thermal spring water for extra hydration.

Dermoplaning does not require special or unusual care.

If your skin is sensitive and has a tendency to react to such treatments, I strongly recommend a hyaluronic acid serum followed by a day/night moisturizer.

The two things I recommend not to come near in the 24-48 hours after the dermaplaning treatment are scrub and retinol, based solely on my experience.

I didn’t like the retinol that gave my skin a fresh peel. *Shrinking*

I also advise you not to use peels or exfoliants for the next few days, as this can be too much for your skin.

Aggressive selection of the skin is also generally a major taboo, and not only after dermaplaning.

What are the benefits of dermaplanage?

Like most exfoliation techniques, dermaplaning prevents breakthroughs by removing the top layer of dead skin cells so they don’t get into the pores or clog up.

Thanks to the gentle exfoliation of the skin, dermaplaning also facilitates the penetration and absorption of useful ingredients in skin care products.

Dermoplaning removes soft facial hair that retains dirt and natural oils, making the complexion brighter and smoother.
